How to make your community a safer place to live and work.

Today, helping to create a safe community is a responsibility of all of us. This one-of-a-kind program describes how we can all do our part to achieve a safe community.

This program not only describes what citizens need to do to make their community a better place to live and work, but calls them to take positive action to establish a watch program in their neighborhood.

They are also urged to volunteer their time and energy to join with law enforcement to achieve the kind of neighborhoods they want. Instead of relying on law enforcement, citizens can provide vital help needed to begin to solve our escalating crime problems.

How to use this video:

This program has tremendous value as a teaching tool for use in presentations to service clubs, parent-teacher associations, and with officials who may have control of the community purse strings.

Present it for any group that may be involved in 'quality-of-life' issues in your community. Crime statistics are illustrated with easy to understand examples so that every citizen who views this program will want to pitch in and lend support.

Show it at Community watch meetings. Viewers are given many reasons why Community Watch works and how they will benefit from participating. By providing motivation for them to take action, this video will be one of the most valuable tools in the Community Watch development arsenal.

Broadcast it on your local cable station.
