Telephone Sales/Service Representative

 

Responsibilities/Duties:  Contacting potential and existing clients with product offerings of learning systems to make sales.

  1. Market research:  Contact target companies not currently doing business with Advantage Source, Inc., or Crime Prevention Resources and qualify, establish wants and create the need for our products and services.  Profile each contact for future selling opportunities. 
  2. Prospect new customers:  Cold call prospects to generate interest in our company’s products.  Encourage prospects to participate in previewing our learning systems.  Ask for referrals from customers.
  3. Quality control: Ensure existing customer base is satisfied with our products and services.
  4. Up selling:  When appropriate, offer a set in a product category over an individual title.  Demonstrate value to customer of purchasing this way.
  5. Cross-selling: Expand existing accounts by selling other titles/products customer is not currently using.  Offer additional titles by offering quantity discount.
  6. Update database:  Always verify current information for accuracy and update our records in an effort to gain the most recent information regarding the customer.
  7. Follow-up: Mail, fax or contact those who have received information or a preview and close for product order.

 

Skills required:  Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.

Education:  Minimum high school education or equivalent and previous job experience.

Daily activities:  Prospecting, selling, lead generation, market research, customer servicing, faxing, mailing, forms/reports.

Customer Service/Account Collection Telephone Representative

 

Responsibilities/Duties:  Contacting existing clients with delinquent accounts to collect outstanding receivables.   Responsible for all aspects of account collections including monitoring, follow-up and maintenance of assigned account files. Must comply with state and federal collection policies and procedures.

Also,

  1. Independent work style:  Ability to work with little direct supervision and to self motivate.
  2. Market research:  Profile each contact for future selling opportunities and refer to sales department.

Telephone Appointment Setter/Representative - Insurance

 

At our insurance division, as the appointment setter you act as the friendly voice of our marketing and sales team. The appointment setter is the first introduction our customers have to our insurance division; so creating a positive and courteous first impression is vital.

 

We place outbound telephone calls to potential clients in a designated market area using an established script. We inform potential clients regarding features and benefits of meeting with one of our representatives and work to schedule appointments. All of our telephone representatives are treated with respect and they are provided training and support throughout their employment with us.

 

Responsibilities/Duties:  Contacting potential clients with the goal of setting appointments to meet with one of our salespeople.

  1. Market research:  Contact individuals for possible appointment. Qualify and profile each contact to determine potential.
